Your Vitality Score

Your Vitality Score is 62. A solid base, with clear room to climb.

Most of your answers point to one thing: the days run hard, but the biology behind them is starting to drift a step ahead of your years. That is what holds the number back, and it is one of the most workable patterns there is.

Bottom line
An afternoon energy dip, a mind that will not switch off at night, and less stamina on the stairs than before hold your score back most. All three are early and workable, and the sooner you start, the faster the number moves.

01 · What your score means

A 62, read in plain English.

A score in this range means a solid baseline with clear room to move it up. Higher is better, so the goal is simple: lift the number over the next few months. The plan below shows the fastest way.

Your score is built from your answers. These three did the most to hold it back.

On how you feel around mid-afternoon on a normal workday
You answered"A real dip. Coffee or a snack gets me through."
On switching off and winding down at the end of the day
You answered"Hard. My mind keeps running."
On climbing a few flights of stairs or a brisk walk uphill
You answered"Winded. It takes a while to settle."

This reading is built only from your fourteen answers. It is a starting point, not a medical diagnosis, and it does not replace a visit with your own doctor.

The Early Drift
Common in busy 50s · The body still works, but its biology is quietly moving a step ahead of your years

Three of your answers line up into one pattern.

The energy swings that drive the afternoon dip, a mind that keeps running at night, and stairs that leave you more winded than before are not separate problems. They are early signs that the systems behind energy, recovery, and physical capacity are starting to slip with age. Left alone, small drifts like these are what turn into bigger ones later.

None of this is unusual for a full life, and none of it is broken. Think of a well-kept house where a few seals have started to loosen. The house is sound. Catching the small drifts early is exactly how you keep it that way, and it is far easier now than later.

Signs the biology is holding

  • The afternoon holds without coffee or a snack
  • The day ends when you decide it does
  • Stairs and hills barely register
  • Strength and stamina feel like they always have

Signs it is starting to drift

  • A mid-afternoon dip that coffee has to cover
  • A mind that keeps running at night
  • Getting winded on stairs that used to be easy
  • Weeks that wear you down by Wednesday
02 · Three free things to start this week
At home · free · start this week

Three changes you can start this Monday.

These come first because they are free and worth trying before anything clinical. Each one targets the pattern holding your score back: the early drift in energy, recovery, and physical capacity. None need a prescription, a supplement, or a clinic visit.

01

Get morning light and a 10-minute walk before your first coffee.

Step outside within an hour of waking and walk for ten minutes before the coffee, not after. Morning light anchors the body clock, and the short walk starts the day's energy on its own power instead of caffeine's. Within a week or two, the mid-afternoon dip gets smaller.
For the afternoon dip
02

Lead each meal with protein and add a short walk after.

Start meals with protein (aim for 25 to 30 grams: eggs, fish, tofu, or Greek yogurt) and take a 10-minute walk afterward. Together they flatten the energy rise and fall that sets up the afternoon slump, and they give a body that is starting to drift the raw material and the movement it needs. Steadier fuel means a steadier tank all day.
For steadier energy
03

Add two short strength sessions and a hard-stop wind-down.

Two 20-minute strength sessions a week, using body weight or light weights, are the fastest way to defend the stamina you feel slipping on the stairs. Then pick a time each night when the workday ends: screens off, lights low, twenty quiet minutes. A mind that gets a real off-ramp stops running at bedtime, and the night can finally do its repair work.
For stamina and deeper nights

Two to three weeks of these will tell you a lot. The check below shows whether they have done their job, or whether measurement is what closes the gap.

After two weeks of doing these consistently

Signs the changes are working

  • The afternoon holds further without coffee
  • Nights switch off more easily
  • Stairs feel a little easier than before
  • The week no longer wears you down by Wednesday

Signs the changes are not enough

  • The dip still arrives on schedule
  • The mind still runs at night
  • Stairs still leave you winded
  • Two weeks in, nothing has really shifted

If the left column is true, you have your answer at home, and that is a good outcome. If the right column is true, that is useful too: it points to something underneath that only measurement can settle, and that is what the consultation is for.

03 · A story like yours

How someone with a 62 turned it around.

The starting point. A man in his mid-fifties came in with almost the same reading: a demanding role, regular walks, but afternoons that ran on coffee, nights that would not switch off, and stairs that left him more winded than they used to. His score sat in the middle band.

First, the free steps. He started with the same three changes in section 02: morning light and a short walk before coffee, protein-first meals with a walk after, and two short strength sessions plus a hard-stop wind-down. Within two weeks the nights were switching off sooner and the afternoon dip had softened.

Then, what the steps could not reach. The stairs still felt harder than they should, so he booked the Longevity Consultation. Biological age testing, a body composition scan, and a physical performance baseline showed the part he could not see by feel: his biological age was running a few years ahead of his calendar age, and he was carrying less muscle than he looked like from the outside.

The plan that followed. The team kept the free steps, mapped his biology with the Maier Method, and built a precise plan to bring the drifting markers back into a healthy range with guided strength and recovery. Over the next few months the afternoons steadied, the stairs got easier, and his score climbed out of the sixties.

The free steps did real work on their own. The testing simply showed the part he could not see by feel.

04 · If you want to look deeper

The tools that fit a pattern like yours.

These are the Chi Longevity tools built for a result like yours, in plain terms. This kind of medicine is still new to most people, so here is what each one is and why it fits. Measurement comes first, and none of it starts from a quiz.

Measurement first
Biological age baseline · the Maier Method
The starting point for everything else. The team maps your biology the way the Maier Method is built to: biological age testing that shows whether your body is running ahead of or behind your years, plus the markers that drive energy, recovery, and physical capacity. Together they turn "I feel a step slower" into clear numbers, so nothing is guessed from how you feel.
Why it fits your resultYour afternoon dip, busy nights, and stairs that leave you winded are exactly the early drift this baseline is built to catch and explain.
Metabolic & Glucose Health
A close look at how your body handles fuel across the day, including short-term glucose sensing that reveals the swings behind an afternoon dip. The team uses it to steady your energy with food, timing, and movement matched to your own readings.
Why it fits your resultThe mid-afternoon crash you described is usually an energy swing. This is the tool that shows it and settles it.
Physical Performance
A baseline of strength and aerobic capacity (the "VO2 max" that tracks how well the body uses oxygen), then a guided plan to build both. Physical capacity is one of the strongest signals of how well you will age, and it responds quickly to the right training.
Why it fits your resultGetting winded on stairs is the loudest part of your reading. This measures the capacity behind it and rebuilds it.
Sleep & Recovery
A read on how well the night restores you and how the day's stress is landing, then simple, guided changes to deepen recovery. Better nights are where steadier energy and easier training both start.
Why it fits your resultA mind that keeps running at night keeps the recharge shallow. This is where that gets addressed directly.
Cognitive Health
A baseline of focus and mental stamina, tracked over time, with a plan to protect them. Keeping the brain sharp is a core part of healthspan, and it is easiest to defend early, before small changes settle in.
Why it fits your resultThe same drift that shows up in energy and stamina often touches focus too. This keeps it on your radar early.
Body Composition & Weight
A precise scan of muscle versus fat, far better than a bathroom scale, with a physician-guided plan so that any weight that leaves is fat, not the muscle you need. Repeat scans track whether the plan is working.
Why it fits your resultThe muscle that defends your stamina is the first thing to slip in the early drift. This measures it and protects it.
None of these start from a quiz. The first step is a Longevity Consultation with the medical team. A doctor looks at your answers, recommends only the measurement that makes sense, and decides with you what, if anything, fits. Plenty of people leave with just the free plan and a clear baseline.
A note from your medical team

Wei, a result like yours is common, and one of the more workable ones we see. Nothing here is broken. The body is sound and the drift is early, which is exactly when it is easiest to turn around. Start with the three changes above this week. They cost nothing and you do not need us to begin. If you want to know exactly what is behind the pattern, that is what the consultation is for, with no pressure either way.
